Privacy Policy
AuraKlass is a brand of AuraAxom Enterprises, Dhubri, Assam ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you use auraklass.com and why.
Who uses AuraKlass
AuraKlass is an exam-practice service for school students (mainly ASSEB Class IX and X), their parents, and teachers or tuition centres. Many of our students are under 18, so we ask for a parent's or guardian's mobile number and consent before a student account is used.
What we collect
- Account details: name, login email, password (stored encrypted by our sign-in provider), and, if you use "Continue with Google", your Google name, email and profile picture.
- Study details: board, class, school medium, first-language subject, exam year and district.
- Parent details: a parent's or guardian's mobile number and the date consent was given.
- Learning activity: questions answered, scores, chapters completed, questions asked to the AI tutor, and mistake reports.
- Answer photos: photos of handwritten answers that you choose to upload for feedback.
- Teachers and centres: name, mobile number, centre or school name and district.
We do not collect Aadhaar numbers, exact location, contacts or payment card details. Payments, when introduced, are handled by a licensed payment gateway; we only receive a confirmation of payment.
How we use it
- To run your account, show your progress and recommend what to revise.
- To mark answer photos and answer tutor questions using AI. Photos and questions are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) only to produce the feedback; they are not used to advertise to you.
- If a student joins a tuition centre or school using its class code, that centre's teachers can see the student's name, progress, scores and marked answers. A student can leave the class at any time from their Profile.
- To fix mistakes in our content and improve the service.
We do not sell personal data, show advertising, or allow third-party tracking.
Where it is stored and for how long
Data is stored with our hosting providers (Supabase, with servers in Mumbai, India, and Cloudflare). Answer photos are kept for up to 90 days and then deleted; marks and written feedback stay in your account. You can ask us to delete your account and all its data at any time by emailing us; we will do so within 30 days.
Your rights
You, or a student's parent or guardian, can ask to see, correct or delete personal data, or withdraw consent, by emailing us. We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and its rules as they come into force.
AI feedback
Marks shown for written answers are indicative AI feedback to help practice. They are not official ASSEB marks and may be wrong; always check with your teacher.
